Cal Poly Humboldt’s Cannabis Studies Program is pleased to invite campus and community members to attend the second annual Symposium on Cannabis and Environmental Stewardship to explore existing and potential policy options for incentivizing regenerative cannabis agriculture and best practices for licensed cannabis production beyond the structure of existing rules and regulations. This event brings together policymakers, nonprofits, cultivators, and academics to map out the landscape of bottom-up approaches to environmental stewardship and explore opportunities to support the successful implementation of Proposition 64 while also upholding the environmental provisions.
This event will take place on Friday, March 28th, 2025 at Cal Poly Humboldt (campus map). This event is free and open to all. We are also hosting a pre-event social at Septentrio Winery on Thursday, March 27th, 2025, with limited tickets available for wine.
The 2025 Cannabis and Environmental Stewardship Symposium is funded through the Land-Sea Connection Program of Resources Legacy Fund, made possible by the Keith Campbell Foundation for the Environment.
